 The session proceeds according to the long experience of Mr. Dionis, as follows:

(Preamble) By the intervention of the magnetizer, the patient will regain his courage, as it should not be forgotten that the cure will also depend on him (the patient). The patient and his magnetizer must become a team. Fellow travellers for a time who will share the same certainty: life needs to be lived. Any cure will be obtained only thanks to the faultless complicity of the expert and his patient… The magnetizer has transmitted to his patient an incomparable spiritual force and –I affirm it – this force will find its source only in the love of his neighbour, in universal love and the love which makes you cry tears of joy…I believed in the incredible and the incredible exists.
(Session) The patient lies on the treatment couch, wearing the least possible  amount of clothing (to locate the origin of the pain. I’ve seen pain in the knee sensitive to the laying on of hands to the head, pains in the scapula corresponding to a zone of the pelvis or sacral vertebrae...). The patient must remove clothing or underclothing made out of synthetic fabrics or silk (they act as barriers). The part will be heated sufficiently in low light... The prone patient will be relaxed as possible, motionless; the eyes closed the hands open. He (the expert) will slip his hand into that of the patient. This first contact established, he will put his other hand on one of the respective zones referred to above (epiphysis, pituitary gland, medulla, thyroid, cardiac plexus, solar plexus, hypogastria...) During the treatment the expert must always keep in contact... Both his hands can be moved but never removed at the same time... After the first session, the magnetizer will suggest that his patient rest for a few moments… reactions being always possible, especially an almost unavoidable sleep, which is characterized by the brusqueness of its appearance and disappearance…the room must be softly lit. The magnetizer, who merits this name, does not need a particularly sumptuous environment. With the magnetizer in a very particular climate, the reassured patients relax, regain hope and become after a very short time members of a great family, that of the magnetizer.
